Electrostatic Precipitator Efficiency Calculator

Air Advantage, Inc. originally built our PrecipDroid electrostatic precipitator calculator
as an Android™ phone app in 2011 and targeted Android™ 2.3. It was made available on
Google's Android Market as a free download, where it remained until early 2025 when it was discontinued
in the store due to the age of its code.

Technology has changed in the intervening years. We decided that a phone app was unnecessary in today's
connected world. The app's functionality has now been recreated in the simple web form below.

The application simplifies the calculation of most of the sizing and performance data associated with
electrostatic precipitators. It will not only calculate most of the normal sizing data associated
with electrostatic precipitator and will also calculate the following:

• The efficiency, when given the gas flow and migration velocity
• The migration velocity when given the gas flow and efficiency
• The gas flow when given the migration velocity and efficiency
• The outlet emissions when given the inlet dust loading
